I hope you are all moving through this season with Peace and Grace. Everything is gonna be alright, it may look some different, but we will all be OK as long as we trust The Love of God.

I want to share a verse with you that has been stirring in my heart and has been helping me stay in peace and I hope it helps you also.

Matthew 11:28-30“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

I just want to point out a few clear points in this verse.

Jesus asks “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion?

The thing I noticed first, is if you are tired and burned out, religion won’t help.  Jesus always gives the answer or solution to what He is asking.  Religion isn’t the solution, relationship with Him is the answer.

As He says in this verse. “Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life.”

The next point:

Jesus continues with “LEARN THE UNFORCED RHYTHMS OF GRACE.”   Wow just wow! It’s unforced and a rhythm. Think of that, unforced means without moves without effort, rhythm flows, and then He adds Grace with it!  Grace is God’s Favor and abilities to recover our lives.  Then He finishes with “Walk with me and work with me- watch how I do it. ( Jesus is saying, Let me model it for you). It’s like giving us the answers in the middle of the test,

Well, I don’t know about you but I say, “Sign me up!”

I hope you are encouraged today!

GOD IS SO FOR YOU IT IS RIDICULOUS!

Love and Blessings, Sherri
