Drawn to Him
JOHN 6:44 AMPLIFIED NO ONE CAN COME TO ME UNLESS THE FATHER WHO SENT ME DRAWS HIM (GIVING HIM THE DESIRE TO COME TO ME);......
Wow, what a powerful verse. Jesus is talking here. It is a privilege to be drawn to God. Please join your faith with ours for our “TRANSFORMATION TOUR” I will talk a bit more about that in a minute.
Well, we hope you are doing well! Jimmie and I have some exciting things going on! Don’t you just love it when things come to completion? That you have pressed through to completion and you didn’t quit. Boy, I do!
Well, the week before last was that way for us it was a week of release. First, on Monday, June 14th, both Jimmie and I got released from our Orthopedic Dr. Roberts (whom we are so thankful for), released from having my hip replacement, and Jimmie from having both knees replaced. Then Wednesday, June 16th, I was released for another year from my “Little Inconvenience, from KU.” And that's not all, then on Thursday, June 17th, Jimmie and I both were released from PT (physical therapy). So, I just want to encourage you that BREAKTHROUGH HAPPENS!! Be on the lookout for yours, it’s coming!!
“TRANSFORMATION TOUR. “ This Sunday, July 4th, Jimmie, me, the band, and our volunteers will be joining Chaplain Herbie Harris on Independence Day to bring some “Good News” to the folks at ElDorado Correctional Center. We are very excited about these events because these folks have not been about to have outside visits since the shutdown.
The Band will be playing, the gospel preached, telling our story, and Jimmie and I will be doing a book signing and giving a copy of “Granny Paid For Our Divorce” to all who want one. This will give them encouragement and discipleship for walking the faith life. We are very excited about this because we know that if we can make it, anyone can. God loves people EVERYWHERE!!
Monday, July 5th we will be at Oswego Correctional Center doing the same, also with Chaplain Harris. Please be joining us in praying for all the people we will be in front of. Transformation is a real thing. Jesus takes our stony heart and gives us a new heart. New nature, New DNA that can equal a New Beginning In Him.
Jesus said it like this:
John 6:44 (Amplified) No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him [giving him the desire to come to Me];........
John 6:37 (Amplified) All that My Father gives Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, never reject anyone who follows Me].
Got anyone you know who needs to know the Lord? Well, pray that He will draw them and He will!
Tuesday, July 6th we will be at Ellsworth Correctional Center with Chaplain Bailey! These Chaplains are heroes, they are making a difference in families everywhere.
I know this seems short but it is power-packed. Please be praying and believing with us that lives will truly be transformed.
We are so thankful for you! I hope you truly know how much OUR FATHER LOVES YOU, AND IS WITH YOU, AND HE COMES FOR US!!
