He Changes Not
Wow, what a year it has been. Things change, people change but one thing we can be certain of, Is that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, He changes NOT!!
I don’t know about you but that brings me a lot of comfort and peace. I have learned that if we are not secure in this one thing, we will fall for anything and freak out over everything. God doesn't freak out so don’t you.
Remember the old song. “ HE’S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS!”
Let’s watch Him work everything out after the counsel of His own will. Even if we take a wrong turn or what we think to be a shortcut. EVERYTHING IS GONNA BE ALRIGHT, one way or another. If you have read the back of the book (The BIBLE) WE WIN!
Well, Jimmie and I have so much to be thankful for, thankful for God’s faithfulness, our family, our friends and each other. This Saturday December the 19th is our 44th Anniversary of giving our lives to Jesus during our second wedding ceremony. So, for those of you who are not aware, Jimmie and I have been married to each other twice. The first time for 3 years and we call that, the marriage made in Hell, cause that’s all there was in our lives during that time. We were divorced about a year, but thank God for New Beginnings.
We knelt down at an altar in small Church surrounded by people who loved us and Jesus and Jesus meant us there, in a real way, we were transformed out of the kingdom of darkness into His kingdom of light. It was just as the song says, Amazing Grace.... I was blind but now I see. We simply owe HIM EVERYTHING!!
It’s not like we are some special case, because to our Father, Everyone is special! When we asked Him into our hearts we were not made perfect at that moment, we had to leave somethings behind, it took time; but we were new and alive in Him. We had to allow our hearts to be taught a new way of doing things because anyone could tell that the way we had been doing things wasn’t working. We had so much wrong in our lives but God spoke a verse to us that caused faith to arise in us.

For if there is first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
Often people relate this only to monetary gifts, but it is talking about in every area of our lives. God is interested in everything in our lives. It doesn't matter what it is or how bad we think it is , if we are willing, HE WILL HELP US!
Some of the things that have helped us on this journey have been,
Keep trusting Jesus and The Father who loves His family.
Love Him, love others as we love ourselves.
Always have room for the hurting in your life , those who can’t do anything in return for you.
Shame and guilt have no place in our lives. Live free in HIM.
Hold short accounts of all offences.
Love, deeply , take risks, dream big!
If your dream has been fulfilled or has ended, dream again. If we are still breathing God has a purpose and a plan for our lives.
GOD HELPING US!!! I know I have shared this before but let’s keep it as a life verse.
Romans 12:1-2 [ Place Your Life Before God ] So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life—your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life—and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
